Austin City Hall, 301 W 2nd St, Austin, TX 78701. A real government building, so every fact on it is public record. This is the same page a customer gets, running live below.
Everything you need before the first call.
Each figure says where it came from and whether it was measured, looked up or estimated.
Roof size from imagery and height data
The roof outline is traced from aerial imagery and checked against public LiDAR height data where it exists. When the two disagree, the report says so instead of showing a confident number. Roof area, pitch and the drawing travel with every report.
40+ services priced
Roofing, gutters, paint, HVAC, fencing, windows and more, each with a planning range from the measured size.
Storm history
Hail and wind events near the property, so roof age is read against what it has been through.
County tax comparison
The appraised value against similar homes in the same county neighbourhood, listed by account number.
Nearby infrastructure
Transmission lines, pipelines and hydrants from government and open map data. A blank is never a clearance: call 811.
A link that keeps working
Send the report to the owner. The link is permanent and shows the same page every time.
Built to say what it does not know.
A property report is only useful if you can tell what is solid. ApexScan is designed so you always can.
Every figure is labelled
Each fact in a report says whether it was measured, looked up or estimated.
No drawing without evidence
A roof drawing is shown only when public height data supports it. Otherwise the report says so.
A failed lookup shows nothing
If a source does not answer, the report leaves the fact out instead of guessing.
Your credit comes back
If an address is outside coverage or a report fails, the credit returns to your account automatically.
Three people, one report.

What is ApexScan?
ApexScan turns a Texas street address into a property report in minutes: the roof outline and area traced from aerial imagery and height data, a priced list of common home services, recent hail and wind events, a county tax comparison, nearby power lines and pipelines, and a link you can send to the owner. It is built for roofing contractors, real estate agents and homeowners.
How much does an ApexScan report cost?
A single report is $17. Monthly plans lower the price per report: Contractor is $99 a month for 10 reports (about $9.90 each), Team is $299 a month for 50 (about $5.98 each) and Volume is $1,249 a month for 250 (about $5.00 each).
How accurate are the measurements?
Measurements come from public aerial imagery, public height data and county records, not a tape measure or a drone. They are estimates for planning and bidding. When the height data does not agree with the traced outline, the report says so instead of showing a confident number. Always verify on site before ordering material.
Which areas does ApexScan cover?
Texas today. Reports for addresses outside Texas are not available yet, and you are not charged if we cannot find your address in our coverage area.
Are the prices in a report quotes?
No. They are planning ranges built from the measured size and local cost data. A contractor still quotes the job. Financing figures in a report are a payment illustration, not an offer of credit.
How long does a report take?
An address we have scanned before is usually ready immediately. A new address can take a few minutes. If a report fails, the credit is returned to your account automatically.
